Is the downloader free?

Which sites?
YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, X, Vimeo, and the hundreds of other sites yt-dlp supports. Private or paywalled content is not supported.
Why does 4K sometimes take longer?
YouTube serves 4K as VP9 or AV1, which Premiere cannot play. The panel re-encodes it to H.264 after the download, which takes a minute or two.
Where do the files go?
In an "Outflow Downloads" folder next to your project file, and in an Outflow Downloads bin in the Project panel.
